It all began with the family's own Lanz Bulldog, a 20 hp tractor. Granddad Remler used it to work the fields. In the early 1990s farming was in decline. Barns and stables stood empty.
Maintenance work on the Bulldog was the trigger for a passion for collecting.
The first exhibition room was opened in 1999, others were added later. In addition to tractors, motorcycles, farming equipment and home accessories there are also motors, sewing machines, a smithy and a wheelwright's workshop.
A festival has been held annually since 2011. On Thursdays the Bulldoghof is open from 3 pm to 7 pm.
